After a 3:30am start we eventually arrived at Perth Airport at 9:30am to meet our new car - "Bess" . Brendan (former owner) informed us that they had always called the car "Bess", we figured why not!!! Spent 40 minutes looking over the car and chatting with Brendan before heading off on our little adventure. Started the day with a 2 hour stint waiting for new wheels and tyres before showing the girls around Perth for the day. Before heading to our first nights accommodation in Mandurah WA we spent a wonderful evening catching up with the Lawrence Family (dinner @ Vans - Cottesloe). So great to catch up after such a long time - too bad we had only a flying visit in Perth itself.
